Default Newbie professions?

Is there a good profession for a newbie? I'm new to this game, and I have about 30 minutes til I can play it. Any recommendations? Or IS there a newbie class, or are they all ok for newbs lol

All professions are pretty good.
The character creation screen says not to go with Mesmer if you're new, but a lot of people disagree and say Mesmer is just as easy as any other profession.

AH ok. How does this work with the two professions at once thing? Does the game or whatever just concentrate on your first profession that you picked more than your second or what?

I think I will be a warrior/elementalist or a warrior/ranger. I'm not sure though on my second one..a warrior/monk would be good for support I'd imagine...

The second profession gets determined as a quest...and you can choose which one u can do (obviously). The second profession lets you use the skills of that character class, and the attributes. BUT, it doesnt let you use the primary attribute for the second class. For example: Ranger/Warrior, you get all the Ranger attributes, and all the Warrior ones except Strength. That's basically it.

Also you have to wear the armor of your primary class.

Warrior I would say is the easiest. Just because it is run up and slash/dash thank you and continue

I'm sure warriors will come here pretty soon and disagree with me though. Just choose a class and you will eventually learn them.

IMO.. (i have played them all) necro is the easiest, if you go with blood magic, and do the life tap dot on all mobs on you... lol.
